Emrzr Sense

Emrzr Sense uses advanced emotionally-aware Artificial Intelligence (AI) to model and infer emotions. It can then be used to dynamically control and adapt various aspects of the game, to amplify to the player’s emotional state, creating a far more immersive and personalised experience.

This can include a dynamically generated soundtrack (when used in conjunction with Emrzr Arrange), as well as lighting, camera effects, non-player-character (NPC) response, animations, reward ceremonies and sound effects.

As well as improving the player’s emotional engagement with a game, Emrzr Sense can also be used for emotional profiling.

Emotional Profiling

Emotional profiling allows the development team to analyse and visualise the pace and interplay of emotions and carefully create and refine the experience and vision they wish to deliver to the player.

For large multiplayer games such as Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) games, Emrzr Sense can be run in the background, to capture ‘emotional intelligence’ data. This data can be mined for information on those experiences which produce the most player satisfaction, find any problems, unpopular or choke points within the game, which affect customer retention or completion.

Emotional profiling provides developers with an incredibly useful tool to help ensure every aspect of the game meets their requirements and that player response is exactly as anticipated.

Simpler, Faster, More Cost Effective

Introducing the Emrzr Sense technology into a game can have a profound effect upon the costs and time taken to create and implement a number of aspects within the production process.

By introducing dynamically controlled emotional content, Emrzr Sense removes the requirement for developers to create individual scripted elements, for specific situations within a game.

Removing these elements not only eliminates the time spent creating those scripts, but also the associated ‘code glue’ required to implement these scripts, or combination of scripts in certain situations. This in turn has a knock on effect upon the Quality Assurance and testing period for those situations.
